Remember Adam’s first birthday? No. Nothing special happened on his first birthday. It come and passed unnoticed by us. I sang him happy birthday in the morning but I was too tied up at work that I cannot celebrate it on the day itself (yes I know, such a lame excuse).
Adam’s second birthday is actually on 26.07.07. However, last weekend, Adam had followed Tok Mon, Mak Chik and Mak Teh sampling Mak Teh’s wedding cake and the bakery gave them a small cake after they booked a three tier wedding cake. They decided to give Adam a rehearsal birthday bash.

Adam is keen at tasting the cake that we can hardly keep his hands off the cake. At first, we cannot light up the candles, then once lit the fire just grew bigger and traces of the wet candles spoilt the icing. However, the main problem is that Adam is salivating over the cake and even when he blows the candles, it just lit up again. Adam tried to blow the candles from different positions and seeing his determined face, it was hilarious. I think it was his saliva that finally blew out the candles. LOL.
We finally get to taste the smudged, candle coated, saliva filled cake after a while and Adam refuse to eat it after two bites. The result, I think Adam is ready for a real birthday bash.

Note: The soysauce bottle is mine. I pretty much eat everything with soysauce.
