When tears are not enough

It was deeply disturbing seeing and reading about the slaughtering ‘annihilation’ of the Palestinians. The pictures of the little ones in bloods crept into my usually dreamless night. I remember waking up perspiring and wondering why it had such a big effect on me. I end up making my own resolution. I cannot say that this slaughtering does not affect me in person or that I cannot do anything to stop it. There must be something that I can do. I cannot keep on crying and shed tears looking at those pictures.

Things that I can do, of which I think we all can do.

I will stop funding the Laknatullah Israelis. I have no idea that most of the products that I kept on buying every month actually produced by them or contribute to them directly or indirectly.
I will not shop in Carrefour anymore. Though I will not go there and post a hate poster on their walls, I am encouraging you all to stop shopping there. Still, I won’t hate you if you still want to go there. But picture this; every cent that you spend there pays the Israelis to keep on slaughtering the Palestinians. How’s that?

I will stop drinking Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Schewppes, Sunkist and stop dining at Starbuck and McD (which is very tough considering that I love McD so much).

I will stop buying Kleenex. I totally cannot believe that I use the three-layer-Kleenex tissue to shed my tears. Ironic isn’t it? I’m buying some other tissue brand, the cheaper Giant’s tissue. Wait I’ll check first. Ok, Giant is clear.

Next is my make-up or so-called beauty products. Though I will continue using Clinique product which I have bought previously, I will not buy any other Clinique product. Once it is finished, I will buy some other Made in Malaysia product. By the way, it’s not just Clinique. I’m boycotting Garnier, Lancome (there goes my perfume), L’oreal, Mark & Spencer, Maybelline (my lipstick, damn), and Revlon (damn again).

Now maybe I can look at those tormenting pictures and said ‘I pray that all your Israelis rot in hell, I’m not giving you any more money!!’
