I Miss You

I was repacking my stuff over the weekends and was surprised to see so many letters in one small box. There were letters from Acedie (my soul-mate) who always talks about her cat eating or sleeping on her lap while she was playing PS.

There were also letters from Jan aka Miss Brown Sugar aka Dek Dutt who always writes lyrics which touches her heart. It was sweet and entertaining and I miss hugging her. Eda (whats her nick?) who always wishes happy holidays. Kak Ita’s get well soon notes (maybe I was sick at that time), Liza aka Kak Mont. We always wrote nonsense notes e.g. a case of Cik Seri Siantan giving advice to a damsel in distress, Tuya aka Kak BUM usually write on a small cut paper fold into a card with pictures of a daisy asking for a ride home. I will reply with a date, venue and time to meet to pick her up. Cute!

OMG that was so many and so cute. I love every one of those letter. I think the letters actually help me to survive studying law. Maybe I have other boxes with similar letters and notes. I have to find it all back.

Maybe one day we can all meet up and read again those cute fancy letters and reminisce the good times that we had shared. I have one letter addressed to Scared from Fearless (I have no idea who that is or how it end up in my box). We all have funny nicknames and we always pass small notes around during lectures. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think we also have a drawer where we put/collect our mails. Oh, I really miss those times!!

And I really miss you all, sweethearts.
