It’s been a while since I last cook a decent meal for Adam. So, yesterday, I decided to cooked the macaroni soup for him. Nothing extravaganza and I admit that I’ve been lazy since Bibik Zah is around.
Adam busied himself in the kitchen while I was cooking that he ate the sliced onion in anticipation of eating the real dish. Once cooked, he ate two and a half large bowl of the soup and then he slept like a baby until morning.
Below is the recipe for the macaroni soup. It’s not my recipe and I really couldn’t recall whether I got it from Yong or Jan because both of them cook very well and for someone lazy (like me!) this is very easy.
300gm macaroni boiled and dried. 250gm meat and chicken breast diced then mixed with one teaspoon of pepper, Soya sauce and salt. Five small onion and two garlic sliced thin and tumis with one tablespoon of chili boh. Add in the meat and chicken breast and let it simmer Make sure the chicken and meat is well cooked before you add in a tin of tomato puree, two litres water and a stok cube. Stir. Let it boiled, add in sawi and kobis, finally the macaroni. Once the vegetables looks mushy (eheh… I couldn’t find the right word), turn off the fire. And your macaroni soup is ready to be served!
Enjoy!
