PMS

Saya bukan PMS yang itu. Saya mengalami Proud Momma's Syndrome. Hahahh. Iya betul. Hannah bukanlah rajin macam Adam malahan selalunya buku latihan dia banyak yang tak siap dan kerja separuh-separuh. Selebihnya banyak conteng. Katanya cikgu suruh conteng macam tu (?)

Rupanya dia pergi praktis tulis huruf e.

Saya sungguh terharu. T_T. PMS betullah!

Hannah and School

Hannah went to the same school with Adam and despite their different ages, the teachers put them in a same class because Hannah will start crying once they are separated. Both of them will be in Adam’s class for the morning session and then Hannah’s class for after break session.

I think it is hilarious because they barely can stand each other outside school and Adam is irritated having Hannah in his class because Hannah will be playing at the back while the class is in session. Hahahh…

So early in the morning, when I want to get her ready for school, she will say “Mama, hari ni Lala nak pergi sekolah (kelas) Adam” and she will take her bath, get dressed without a fuss when I agreed. But she will still make me carry her all the way to the bathroom and back to the room. I don’t mind but my hips have been protesting silently because she weights 14kg now.

Last week, she randomly say ‘api neraka’ and I asked her ‘api neraka tu apa, kakak?’ She said, ‘api neraka tu macam obomen la, Mama’ and put her hands up and do the Ultraman’s firing position. Lol.

I told Gen about the api neraka incident. Gen said it was in the doa that she recites and the full version would be ‘dan selamatkanlah kami dari siksaan api neraka’. With that, we then find out that Hannah can now recite doa tidur, doa makan, doa penerang hati, doa masuk tandas and few others. She will also recite all this doa in the toilet while she was doing her big thing. However, she will not recite the doa before meals or before sleeping. Hmmmm.

We were at my parents house for the weekend and we make Hannah recite every doa that she had learn (proud parents syndrome) first to her Tok, then to Aki, later to Mak Teh when Hannah finally say,

Hannah: Bismillah Bismillah Bismillah
Mama: Kenapa kakak baca doa macam tu?
Hannah: Mulut Lala ni dah rosak dah sebab baca doa banyak sangat. Haaa, cuba Mama tengok Bismillah Bismillah Bismillah. Haaa, kan dah rosak?

Sabar je lah, kan? Lols.

Hannah @ Hanna Humaira Binti Norhisyam

Hannah was born on 31st day of August, 2006 and was the cutest baby that I have ever seen. She was really fair with red splotches all over her face. She had long fingers with perfectly trimmed fingernails and she weights 2.8 kg which is the biggest baby that I have ever carried.

I have always wanted to name her Hannah. Her name comes from an Ibrani word means ‘filled with glory’, penuh keagungan. Nice eh? But what most people don’t know is that Gen accidentally drops the back ‘H’ somewhere on his was to the Registration Department. No kidding. We amend it later so her full name is as above.

As for Humaira, it means putih kemerah-merahan which is the colour of our National Flag representing the special Merdeka day that she was born. Creative right? Hehe

But the best part is that we all call her ‘Lala’. It was actually the nick given by Adam. When I tell him that we shall call the baby Humaira, he had a hard time pronouncing her name so he conveniently calls her as Lala. He was 14 months-old when I give birth to Hannah. So, instead of teaching him to call her properly, we all end up calling her Lala as well. Sampailah sekarang. She hardly responds to her real name, sometime she will respond to ‘Kakak’ depending on her mood but most likely to respond to Lala and she even refer to herself as Lala. As in ‘Lala nak tidur, Lala nak susu’.

So here it is my cheeky Lala.

And I simply had to upload this picture as well though this post has nothing to do with her, Miss naughty Nadia. Hehe.

And the Battle Begins

It was eight pm. I was cooking. Gen was praying. Adam was watching Tom and Jerry on Cartoon Network. Hannah was here and there. Nadia was sleeping. Our usual routine.

Suddenly Nadia screamed at the top of her lungs.

I hurried to the living room, almost trip on my way there in hurry. Nadia was still crying inside her cot. Hannah was already holding the cot looking suspiciously innocent. Nadia’s mouth was covered with traces of chocolate chips and when I lift her up, a big chunk of chocolate chips fell down. Traces of chocolate chip were on her clothes and in the cot. I can only imagine Hannah sat in the cot, on Nadia, trying to feed her with the chips.

“Lala!!” I scream but Hannah already escape to Gen’s side.
