Lunch with the Girls

It was us all, the girls and one very lucky guy, Adam Malik. Lieza had to bring him along because the nursery is closed (on Thursday! Suka-suka ati je kan diorang nih). Whatever it is, we were having a great lunch at Pak Akob which is well known for the delicious Ikan Patin. If you like Ikan Patin or any other ikan sungai, I can bring you there for lunch.

Yaya is in Kuantan for her younger brother’s wedding on Saturday and manage to sneak out while preparing the pelamin. Her mom must be wondering where she is. Eh, alamak, I don’t have any picture of Yaya taken. LOL. Mesti kena tembak dengan tuan rumah! We must be very busy talking and eating and taking care of Adam Malik. I upload the picture (gambar file) of the notorious Ikan Patin (Masak Asam Pedas) and forgot his friend, Ikan Krai (?!) Goreng.

When we arrived, Lieza (who is not working to-day because she will start working at the Yayasan Pahang early next month) was already there with Adam Malik. He’s so chubby that I hug him a lot and obviously he doesn’t like it. Hehe.

Noni who is supposed to be in KL today, magically appear with a sore eye. I know she wouldn’t miss our little gathering otherwise we will be gossiping about her behind her back. Ngeeeehehe. Actually, I hardly see her ‘sore eye’. She looked just fine to us.

Azy joined us later with her two children. The pic is too dark. Maybe I should consider buying an Ixus.

The lunch was great and we eat and talk and laugh a lot. I had a really great time with them. It reminds me so much of our lives back then in Shah Pekan. Yaya, Azy and I had a big crush on this Budak Kuku Hitam. Funnily nobody ends up with him. We all married some other guy. Since Azy is now single, we all started match-making her with him. Who knows? It was high school all over again.

Love you guys, we should do this again and again. Next time, i’ll promise to upload Yaya’s pics.
